Born in Chalkida, Greece, where she lives and works. Since she was a child, she has had a talent for the arts that led her to study at the School of Fine Arts. Katerina, along with her hobbies, reading, swimming, horse riding, running, music, etc., is always looking for new and different expression techniques.

Θ.: Ζωγράφος, Εικαστικός - Γ.: Χαλκίδα - Γο.:-ΣΠ: Κατάγεται από την οικογένεια Μουρούζη, οποία είχε αναδειχτεί από τις επιφανέστερες οικογένειες του Φαναριού - Ε.: Σπουδές στην Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών (ΑΣΚΤ) - K.: Ήδη από νεαρή ηλικία εκδήλωσε το ταλέντο και το ενδιαφέρον της για τις τέχνες. Όμως η ζωγραφική ήταν αυτό που την ώθησε για να σπουδάσει, ακολουθώντας μια πορεία έντονης δραστηριότητας. Σε ομαδικές και ατομικές εκθέσεις απέσπασε αξιόλογες κριτικές, επαίνους και βραβεία. Χωρίς να παραμελεί τις εκθέσεις της ασχολήθηκε και με την έρευνα νέων και διαφορετικών τεχνικών και εκφραστικών μέσων. Εργάστηκε ως επιμορφώτρια στα ΝΕΛΕ Ευβοίας διδάσκοντας παράλληλα ζωγραφική και σε πολλά σχολεία. Επίσης, έχει διδάξει αφιλοκερδώς και στις φυλακές κράτησης γυναικών Θήβας το 2018-2019. Έργα της βρίσκονται στο Μουσείο Μαρίκας Κοτοπούλη, στο Μουσείο της Δημοτικής Κεντρικής Βιβλιοθήκης Χαλκίδας, στο Μουσείο Μυτιλήνης, στο αρχείο των φίλων Σκαρίμπα, στο Πνευματικό Κέντρο Βαφοπούλειο Θεσσαλονίκης, στο Μουσείο Χατζηγιάννειο Λάρισας, στο Πνευματικό Κέντρο Δήμου Αθηνών, στο Μουσείο Πενταγώνου Π.Ν. και σε πολλές ιδιωτικές συλλογές στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Έχει εκθέσει έργα της σε πολλές πόλεις της Ελλάδας και το 2008-2019-2020 στο San Francisco της Καλιφόρνιας. Φιλοτέχνησε πολλές φορές αφίσες Ναυτικής Εβδομάδας, αφίσες θεάτρου και διαφόρων πολιτιστικών εκδηλώσεων του Δήμου Χαλκιδέων. Από το 1991 είναι μέλος του Επιμελητηρίου Εικαστικών Τεχνών Ελλάδος. Αναφορά στο έργο της περιλαμβάνεται στο «Λεξικό Ελλήνων Καλλιτεχνών» του εκδοτικού οίκου «Μέλισσα» και στο λεξικό «who is who Ελληνίδων». Στο ενεργητικό της παρουσιάζει πολλές ατομικές και επιτυχημένες και Βραβευμένες Εκθέσεις. Φιλοτεχνήθηκε γραμματόσημο προς τιμήν της -Δ: Το 2003 εξέδωσε το πρώτο μικρό βιβλίο της με τίτλο «Τι γυναίκα τι θάλασσα», το οποίο βρίσκεται σε διάφορες δημοτικές βιβλιοθήκες της χώρας. Έχουν ασχοληθεί με τη δουλειά της όλες οι εφημερίδες της Εύβοιας, πολλές ημερήσιες εφημερίδες της Αθήνας και περιοδικά, όπως και πολλά μεγάλα τηλεοπτικά κανάλια. Οι κριτικές για το έργο της πολλές και άριστες. 2004 Τόμος: Αφιέρωμα στη τέχνη της, στη Φιλολογική Πρωτοχρονιά (Βραβείο ακαδημίας Αθηνών) -Δι: Απέσπασε πολλά Βραβεία, Μετάλλια και Επαίνους. Έχουν γίνει αφιερώματα για την ίδια και το έργο της εγχώρια και ξένα και έχουν γραφτεί τιμητικά χειρόγραφα και δημοσιεύσεις από: Ιστορικό Τέχνης Μάνο Στεφανίδη (Επιμελητή Εθνικής Πινακοθήκης), Βάσος Κουντουρίδης Τεχνοκριτικός (με έδρα Γαλλία A.I.C.A). Αναφορά σε χειρόγραφο και τόμος για το έργο της στο: «Φιλολογική Πρωτοχρονιά 2004» κ.ά Πεντάγωνο. Πολεμικό Ναυτικό: 2006: Οργάνωση του Πολεμικού Ναυτικού ατομικής της έκθεσης στη Πάτρα. Βράβευση της, Μετάλλιο, Έπαινος, τιμητική εκδήλωση στο Θωρηκτό Γ.Αβέρωφ (Πλωτό Ναυτικό Μουσείο). Έργο της βρίσκεται στο μουσείο του Πενταγώνου. Εισέπραξε πολλές ευχαριστήριες επιστολές για τις προσωπικές της Δωρεές της, όπως από την Ακτή Ελεφαντοστού το 2005, από τον Διευθυντή TV.ΕT3 Ν.
